Mabinogi is a free-to-play adventure MMORPG developed by devCAT and published by multiple companies throughout the world. Initially released in Korea in 2004, Mabinogi is loosely based on Irish mythology and sports a very unique anime art style that uses hand drawn images and sharp image outlining. While the game is an MMORPG and has features like dungeons, quests, and leveling, the game is now more well known for its social and fashion aspects.

With the ability to do almost anything you want to do in game (literally, you can write music if you want to), Mabinogi allows players to truly play the game they want to play… even if that game involves consuming the thousands of fashion items added to the game. While each update has added to the game’s main story threads, players are free to explore and live their own personal fantasy life if they wish… the RPG elements of the game aren’t even required in some cases.

For those looking to take on quests, monsters, dungeons, and other traditional MMO content, fret not as Mabinogi offers plenty of that as well. PvP and duels are available in special areas of the game’s vast and beautiful world.
