About Pirate 101

Pirate 101 is a free to play 3D Pirate-themed MMORPG designed with kids in mind, and attempts to bring families together by providing exciting gameplay for adults and kids alike.

The universe of Spiral is made up of Several different worlds, and every world in Spiral has multiple areas for you to explore. They have a unique way of categorizing their game by the use of “books” and “chapters”. Although the game is Free to Play, in order to play certain Chapters, you must purchase them with “Crowns”, which is the in-game premium currency for Pirate 101. There is also a membership plan that allows the user to have limited-time access to every chapter in the game, during their timed subscription.

Some of the major ways Pirate 101 maintains its kid-friendly atmosphere is by limited player interaction, and having parental controls set in place. There are three different chat modes in Pirate 101, each with a different level of restrictions. Another interesting tidbit; Pirate 101 takes place in the same universe as Wizard 101, which is also known for its family-friendly style of gameplay.
